decent stay, some issues
rocky patchresort isolation
the supposed private beach? more like a public rocky patch. they claim it's great for snorkeling, but good luck finding any gear. plus, prepare for a hike if you need anything from outside the resort. it felt pretty isolated.

The room was a good size, and plenty of water bottles were replenished each day.
I saw people walking in from the beach and using hotel facilities. They took towels and lounged around the pool. The hotel did not ask to see a room key for towels or use wristbands. I found this disappointing when I was spending a lot of money per night.

the beach grill staff made our birthday celebration amazing (i loved the setup!). mook, fern, kik, and audrey handled our requests wonderfully. their hospitality ensured we had a fantastic time.
the gym equipment showed slight signs of wear.

The food quality at the restaurant was pretty good. I especially liked the themed nights and the variety offered. Two beautiful pools are available and the private beach is easy to access.
The hotel is not close to the main attractions. I had to take a taxi, costing extra each time to go to the popular tourist spots. There were very few shops nearby. I had to walk a long distance to reach the closest one.
